Social Worker - comm adult mental health,

Social Worker adult mental health service, Clondalkin West Dublin

Social Worker required for a community based adult mental health service based in Clondalkin, Dublin 22 and serving the surrounding area.

The service provides  Acute Care and in-patient Treatment; Outpatient Clinics; In Patient Care, Recovery Programmes and Vocational Training; Early intervention, Home based interventions and a variety of targeted therapies.

The social worker will work as part of a multi-disciplinary team based in Dublin 8 led by a Consultant Psychiatrist, and including Community mental Health nurses,  Occupational Therapist and a Psychologist.

Essential requirements are:
•    A recognised qualification as a Social Worker, 2021 graduates will be considered
•    Registration with CORU or in the process of registration
•    Some post graduate experience in a mental health setting or experience working with a multi-disciplinary team, placement experience will be considered
•    Experience of working with adults /adults mental health setting, placement experience will be considered
•    Additional training / qualifications in therapeutic approaches to working with adults would be beneficial
