We are looking for an experienced Solutions Lead to join our client in Dublin. This is a hands-on role suited to someone with deep expertise in Cloud Strategy, DevOps, API integration, and streaming services, particularly within the banking sector. The successful candidate will play a key part in delivering secure, scalable, and compliant cloud-based solutions.
Role:
- Design, implement, and maintain automated test cases using the Python framework.
- Develop and execute REST API test cases and validate API operations.
- Work with Teradata and similar databases to ensure backend data integrity and process accuracy.
- Collaborate with teams to test and integrate mainframe-based applications.
- Build and maintain automation scripts for Excel-based data processing and validation tasks.
- Enhance and optimize the existing test framework by integrating modern tools and practices.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to capture testing requirements and deliver test reports.
- Report defects clearly and contribute to resolution efforts with detailed, reproducible documentation.
Requirements:
- Strong proficiency in Python, including libraries such as Pandas, NumPy, Behave, and Pytest.
- Solid understanding of REST API testing using tools like Postman, Swagger, or Python libraries (e.g., Requests).
- Proven experience with Teradata and SQL for database testing and data validation.
- Exposure to mainframe systems and familiarity with Zowe Explorer for test automation.
- Experience with version control systems like Git, GitHub, or Bitbucket (Stash).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, especially when translating technical details to non-technical stakeholders.
- Demonstrated leadership and project coordination experience.
