We are currently recruiting a Team Leader to join a residential respite service supporting children and adults with intellectual disabilities, autism, physical disabilities, and complex health needs.
In this role, you will support individuals in a person-centred environment while assisting the Respite Services Manager with the day-to-day management of the service.
📍 Location: Mountcharles, Co. Donegal
🌟 The Role
As Team Leader, you will play a key role in delivering a safe, high-quality, HIQA-compliant service while supporting and guiding your team to provide person-centred care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the delivery of a safe, high-quality, HIQA-compliant service
- Lead and supervise staff across a variety of shifts
- Manage rotas, staff supervision, training, and team communication
- Oversee the implementation and review of individual support and care plans
- Liaise with families, multidisciplinary teams, and key stakeholders
- Maintain high standards in health & safety and documentation
📝 Requirements
- QQI Level 6 Major Award in Health & Social Care (or equivalent)
- Experience working in a HIQA-registered service
- Strong understanding of person-centred practice
- Full clean manual driving licence
- Flexibility with working hours
