Technical Writer (Pharmaceutical/Biotechnology)
On behalf of their Client, Kenny-Whelan & Associates are sourcing for a Technical Writer for the Cork area to join a well established Life Sciences Company in Cork.

This is a fabulous opportunity to support the Small Molecule part of the site working with Technical Services/Manufacturing Sciences (TS/MS).
Also there will be opportunities to develop, learn key understanding of core manufacturing principles, involvement in New Production Introductions, support multiple manufacturing functions such as Engineering, QA, Chemistry, EHS.
Main duties and responsibilities:
· Design, generate and update facility/process Procedures & Work Instructions
· Design, generate and update Production Master Batch Records
· Design, generate and update Operations Area Logbooks
· Design, generate and update Training Documentation
· Design, generate and update EH&S Systems Documentation
· Design and generate PQ Protocols
· Own Document Revision and Routing on Document Management System and drive on time approval
· Design, update/improve other Documentation associated with small molecule business
· Work with Technical groups in developing key Technical Documents to facilitate the start of new facility and the introduction of the new products
Education:
· Relevant Science/Engineering 3rd level qualification or relevant -
· Interested to see Candidates with PhD / MSc Grads in Chemistry or similar candidates with good internship.
· Advanced ECDL especially Excel
Experience:
- Previous pharma production operations/ projects/process experience (biopharma preferable)/Internship pharma experience
- Strong sense of customer focus and teamwork
- Previously demonstrated flexibility and willingness to take on different job tasks
- Self-motivated/ proactive approach with the ability to work without close supervision
- Commitment to meet deadlines
- ‘Right first time’ attitude`
- Demonstrated technical writing skills in the generation of documents
- Good planning and organisation skills essential
- Experience of EDMS
- Excellent attention to details, be able to use your own initiative and be able to communicate/collaborate effectively at all levels.
