Job Title: Sales Administrator

About the Role:
I am seeking a proactive and organised Sales Administrator to join a strong team in Wexford. This role plays a key part in ensuring the smooth operation of our forwarding and sales processes, managing customer enquiries, scheduling collections and deliveries, and supporting both the sales and forwarding teams administratively.
Key Responsibilities:
- Handle customer enquiries by phone and email, including providing pricing and support
- Manage sales and forwarding inboxes, ensuring queries are dealt with promptly
- Prepare and submit customs declarations for imports and exports
- Arrange and track bookings, collections, and deliveries using the Transport Management System
- Keep accurate records and issue daily updates/reports to customers
- Support the accounts team with queries and invoice reconciliations
- Communicate with customers on rates, surcharges, and service updates
- Assist colleagues across the sales and forwarding team when required
- Provide occasional out-of-hours support to customers/hauliers via work mobile
Skills & Qualifications:
- Previous experience in customs, forwarding, or logistics (essential)
- Strong administration, planning, and organisational skills
- Excellent attention to detail with a focus on accuracy
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally
- Comfortable working to deadlines and managing a busy workload
- Proficient in MS Office, particularly Excel
- A qualification in Business, Supply Chain, or a related discipline is an advantage but not essential
Performance Indicators:
- Actively manage NCRs to identify trends.
- Meet company and customer SLA/KPIs.
- Deliver job-specific objectives and act on feedback from line manager and clients.
