Our client, is seeking a highly organised and proactive Event Coordinator to join their dynamic Events team. This is an excellent opportunity to work with one of Ireland’s most historic and respected social‑impact organisations, operating a 42-acre multi-purpose venue that welcomes over 2 million visitors annually.
The Role
The Event Coordinator will support the planning, coordination, and delivery of a diverse programme of events across the campus — including major events. This role requires flexibility, as evening and weekend work may be required.
You will work closely with the Head of Event Delivery, Senior Event Managers and internal teams, managing client bookings, supporting operational logistics, and ensuring events are delivered to the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Support overall coordination, scheduling and reporting of major events, ensuring objectives are met within set timelines and scopes.
- Manage client bookings from initial sales stage through to event delivery, providing excellent customer service.
- Assist in the setup and delivery of smaller bookings across the campus.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, stakeholders, and internal teams.
- Prepare event support documentation including supplier contracts and insurance.
- Assist in creating roster sheets for event staff, ensuring compliance with rest‑break legislation.
- Schedule and update events using the EMBS booking system.
- Identify opportunities to improve processes and enhance operational efficiency.
- Support additional tasks as required by Senior Managers and the Head of Event Delivery.

Experience
- Previous experience in the events industry or similar role.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and databases.
- Knowledge or interest in the events industry is a distinct advantage.
Qualifications
- Qualification in Events or Business Administration.
