Our Client, an Educational Institution is looking to hire an Administrative Assistant on a temporary 28 hour contract for 4 until December.
Role Summary:
Marketing and Communications
- Lead the School’s marketing and recruitment efforts by creating and delivering effective marketing and communication strategies.
- Oversee updates to the website, working with programme directors and staff to create engaging content.
- Manage and grow the digital presence, including website content and social media platforms.
- Create and deliver communication campaigns to connect with potential undergraduate and postgraduate students. This includes writing compelling content and taking a creative approach to messaging.
- Provide marketing advice and support across the institution, including developing materials, templates, and guidelines to promote research, teaching, and community engagement.
- Plan and manage advertising efforts, including copywriting and working with designers, in collaboration with the educational institutions Marketing and Communications team.
Student Recruitment
· Plan and lead the school’s involvement in student recruitment events, including Higher Options, Options West, and open days for undergraduate and postgraduate programmes.
· Coordinate participation in online recruitment events and webinars with partner institutions and Global Galway.
Role Requirements:
· A primary level 8 degree in a relevant field
· A minimum of three years’ relevant work experience in a marketing or similar role
· Strong project management skills, leadership skills and excellent writing and editing skills
· Demonstrable excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, analytical skills
· Strong experience designing and implementing an online social media communication plan
· Evidence of effective networking, influencing skills and relationship building
· Proven ability to work effectively independently and as a leading part of a team
· Track record in achieving targets in a competitive environment
· Proficient skills in ICT tools related to the position
· Proficiency in the use and usage of social media tools/platforms
· Ability to perform to deadlines and budgetary constraints
· Experience of web design, updating web content and web Content Management System
· Knowledge of the marketing and recruitment within the Higher Education sector is desirable
· A relevant postgraduate qualification is desirable. Relevant fields include Law, Business, Marketing and / or Communications
