Practice Manager

I am currently seeking an experienced Practice Manager for my client who are a busy medical practice based in Tuam, Co. Galway. This is a full time, permanent role Monday to Friday with flexible working hours to suit the candidate.

The ideal candidate would have previous experience in a busy Urban Practice with excellent people management skills.

Responsibilities:

·      Responsible for managing the roster for the clinic and arranging for unexpected absences

·      Organising West Doc rota

·      Organising annual leave for the team

·      Managing and overseeing payroll for clinic staff

·      Recruiting of new staff including clerical, practice nurses and GP’s

·      Onboarding of new hires

·      Ensuring a high standard of customer care to patients

·      Dealing with any complaints or issues and ensuring the correct HR procedures and policies are followed

·      Supervise daily practice operations such as billing, debt collections, security and occupational health and safety

·      Monitor, manage and motivate of all clerical/ administrative staff

·      Acting as main point of contact for staff and patients

·      Ensure an ongoing focus on improving the quality of the patient experience.

·      Ensure compliance with all statutory and legal regulations

Requirements

·      Excellent people management skills

·      Previous experience in an Urban Practice

·      Knowledge of HR policies and procedures

·      Excellent communications skills

·      Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
