Cpl Recruitment have an exciting requirement for a HR Generalist, for a permanent role in South Dublin working 3 days onsite and 2 remote. The candidate must have excellent Employee Relations Experience.
The HR Generalist will play a critical role in ensuring the organization’s HR strategies align with business objectives, while ensuring compliance and operational excellence.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Compliance & ER Management
- Continuously improve and develop HR policies, procedures, processes, and documentation to ensure legal compliance and operational efficiency.
- Drive HR best practices across the organisation by implementing initiatives that support the development of people management capabilities.
- Manage and support employee relations cases, ensuring that all conduct and performance matters are handled in line with company policy and relevant legislation.
- Facilitate the timely resolution of employee relations queries, balancing employee advocacy with management objectives
- Provide guidance to managers on change management initiatives, ensuring that all changes are implemented in compliance with employment legislation and company policy.
Communication & Training
- Review, update, and maintain HR content across various communication channels.
- Act as the main point of contact for business stakeholders and employees regarding HR questions, providing guidance and support on all HR-related matters.
- Provide coaching, mentoring, and training on HR topics to employees and leadership across all levels of the organisation.
- Collaborate with managers and supervisors to resolve personnel issues and ensure all people management practices are aligned with current legislation.
HR Data Analysis & Problem-Solving
- Collect and analyse HR data to identify trends, opportunities, and potential challenges.
- Proactively assess areas for improvement and recommend effective and viable solutions to enhance HR practices.
- Produce standard and ad-hoc HR reports as required by stakeholders.
Candidate Profile:
Essential:
- Minimum of 3 years HR experience in a similar role with experience managing disciplinary and grievance processes end-to-end, ensuring legal compliance and fair procedures (conducting investigations, preparing documentation)
- Working knowledge of Irish Employment Law and HR policies & procedures
- Bachelor’s Degree/Diploma in HR or equivalent
- Strong understanding of HR compliance and best practices
- Proven experience in policy development, employee relations, and HR process management
- Ability to work independently, while also contributing effectively as part of a team
- Adaptable to change with a proactive mindset, maintains resilience when managing conflicting demands and effectively navigates shifting priorities
- Experience of managing multiple projects and priorities
- Excellent communication, coaching, and interpersonal skills, with strong analytical abilities that support data-informed decision making
- Proficient in Microsoft and Google Suite
- Able to work within a 24/7 model. Flexibility in working hours, including availability to support operations during both day and evening shifts, as needed by the business.
Desirable:
- CIPD qualified or part-qualified
