Cpl is actively recruiting for an experienced HR Officer to join a world class food manufacturing business in Craigavon, County Armagh.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a HR Professional to grow their career with a successful multi-site business renowned for being a trusted supplier in this industry.
Your new role
The successful candidate will join a fast paced HR team in a newly created role supporting a busy factory site.
This will be a true Generalist role overseeing all areas of HR including employee relations, absence management, recruitment, training and HR projects on engagement and wellbeing.
Key duties will include:
· Provide training, coaching and support to line Managers on HR policies and procedures and legal requirements, ensuring fairness and consistency.
· Deliver effective recruitment, selection and retention solutions, all within HR best practice and legislative guidelines.
· Manage employee administration and maintain up to date and accurate employee records on HR systems , trackers and manual files in order to produce timely and accurate management reports and information.
· Complete weekly, monthly and ad hoc HR reports, audits and KPI’s as required
· Proactively monitor and assist managers with the absence management
· Ensure employee’s performance is regularly reviewed and personal development is promoted
· To actively support the site to achieve the business and HR vision, goals and targets.
· Ensure all payroll information is managed and processed in a timely manner.
· Assist in driving and supporting employee engagement strategies, activities and employee opinion surveys.
· To engage in and maintain effective relationships with management and employees.
What you’ll need to succeed
- 3rd Level qualification in HR, Business or equivalent
- CIPD qualified (Desirable)
- Recent experience in a HR Officer/ Generalist role
- Strong communication & organisational skills
