Account Executive – Personal Lines
Role Overview
The Account Executive is responsible for managing a portfolio of Personal Lines clients, driving retention and growth while ensuring full compliance with regulatory and internal standards. This role requires strong sales capability, excellent organisational skills, and a customer-first approach within a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
Client Portfolio Management
- Manage and service a portfolio of Personal Lines clients.
- Handle renewals, mid-term adjustments, and policy queries efficiently and accurately.
- Maintain high retention levels in line with agreed targets.
- Identify opportunities for cross-selling and upselling across product lines.
Sales & Business Development
- Demonstrate strong negotiation and closing skills.
- Achieve individual and team sales targets.
- Proactively engage clients to maximise account potential and long-term relationships.
Operational Excellence
- Process renewals, mid-term alterations, account entries, claims liaison, and correspondence accurately.
- Ensure all client records are maintained and up to date on internal systems.
- Respond promptly and professionally to all internal and external queries.
Compliance & Governance
- Ensure all activities comply with regulatory requirements and company policies.
- Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to audit standards at all times.
Team Collaboration
- Work collaboratively across departments to deliver shared objectives.
- Contribute positively to a high-performing, fast-paced team environment.
Qualifications & Experience
- APA qualification (essential).
- CIP qualification (desirable).
- Previous experience in Personal Lines or a similar client-facing insurance role.
- Experience working in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
- Familiarity with CRM or insurance systems advantageous.
