Our Nursing Home is committed to enhancing the quality of life for all our residents, whether staying with us long-term, or for a short period of respite or post-hospital convalescence, or living independently in our homely apartments.
The multi-award winning facility is uniquely designed and beautifully situated and offers excellent care to our residents. H Centre is located only 20km South of Cork City (20 minutes drive from Cork Airport) and comprises , a 127 bedded care facility, our independent and supported living Apartments, a Doctor’s surgery, and a Podiatry Clinic.
Our aim is to provide care and support in a secure and professional environment for those in need. Our friendly and experienced staff will tailor individual and holistic care packages designed to recognize the dignity and uniqueness of each person.
Requirements
Possess a minimum of 7 years of post-registration experience.
Have not less than 3 years’ experience of nursing older persons in the last 6 years.
Hold a FETAC level 6 or equivalent in leadership and management.
Have in-depth knowledge of regulatory requirements and regulatory inspection activities relevant to residential care centres.
Promote an ethos and culture of quality assurance within the clinical area, including identifying and establishing benchmarks and KPIs in consultation with the Director of Nursing.
Be available to work full-time hours.
Be available to work flexible hours when required.
Exhibit the ability to manage one's workload effectively while responding flexibly to new demands at short notice.
Maintain an active registration on the Live Register, as consistently maintained by An Bord Altranais.
