Position: Cloud Engineer (1 year Contract)

Location: Galway (Hybrid)

Role Overview

Our client is looking for an experienced Bi Developer, to join their team on a 1 year contracting opportunity. In this role, you will design and deliver dashboards and reports that empower our business partners.

Required Expertise:

A minimum of 5 years’ experience as a software application engineer/developer
Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, or a related technical discipline
Proven ability to work autonomously and build strong relationships with partners and stakeholders
Mastery of ANSI-standard SQL, including analytical and aggregate functions
Hands-on experience with Oracle 12c or later
Competence in reading and translating VBA macros into SQL
Experience building paginated reports using Oracle Analytics Publisher, BI Publisher, Crystal Reports, or Power BI Report Builder
Proficiency with analytical BI tools such as Tableau or Power BI
Experience using BI Publisher templates in Excel and Word

Nice to have's:

Knowledge of Snowflake
Background in performance tuning
