Description of the role:
The Clinical Nurse Manager will play a vital role in leading and delivering exceptional patient care within the surgical environment. Your expertise will ensure that every patient receives safe, efficient, and high-quality care during surgical procedures. You will also be instrumental in supporting and developing the nursing team to maintain the highest professional standards.
Requirements:
· Registered in the relevant division of Nurses & Midwives maintained by the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland [NMBI]
· Must have 3 years post registration experience in an acute hospital setting, in the last 5 years.
· With at least one of those years being within the specialty or related area.
· Have the clinical, managerial and administrative capacity. To lead, manage and motivate the nursing team, delegating responsibility
· Be responsible for the co-ordination, assessment, planning, implementation, and review of care for patients according to BSHS standards
Desirable
· Experience with an Electronic Health Record
· Preceptorship experience
· Postgraduate course or relevant educational course
· Management Qualification
Salary:
€56,081 - 66,045 (dependent on years’ experience)
