The role:
With a full copy of the Job Spec available on request, the Commercial Manager will:
· Recognise new business opportunities and design bids to win new business.
· Negotiate and agree on contracts.
· Have full oversight of project financial management, take ownership of budgets and control costs across large scale projects.
· Be strategically minded – driving and improving standards across the business.
The person:
· Minimum 15 years of Electrical Engineering experience with on-site and management experience.
· 5 years minimum commercial experience in the electrical industry.
· Proven contractual awareness and how to implement commercial management T&Cs.
· Driven, customer centric, highly motivated and adept in winning new business.
· MS Office proficient with a particular focus on Excel.
· Able to handle pressure, multiple clients, contracts, methods of measurement.
· A proficient problem solver – able to anticipate and eliminate problems early.
· Full driving licence and car for business purposes.
