Director of ERP Systems - Dublin/Hybrid 3 days
Our client is a high-growth, publicly listed global organisation with deep roots in Ireland and an expanding international footprint across Europe, USA, and beyond. Through sustained organic growth and strategic acquisitions, the business partners with over 200 leading pharmaceutical and MedTech companies to improve patient access to medicines worldwide, enabled by advanced digital platforms and highly specialised teams.
To support its continued expansion, the organisation is seeking an experienced and visionary Director of ERP Systems to define and lead its global ERP strategy. This is a senior leadership role with responsibility for the governance, performance, and evolution of a complex ERP landscape including SAP, Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations, and Business Central, operating across multiple geographies and business divisions.
Reporting at executive level, you will ensure ERP platforms are fully aligned with corporate strategy, operational excellence, and growth ambitions. You will lead enterprise-wide ERP programmes spanning new implementations, upgrades, integrations, and post-merger harmonisation, while balancing business-as-usual performance with transformation initiatives. Acting as a trusted partner to senior stakeholders, you will translate business priorities into scalable, secure, and compliant ERP solutions that deliver measurable value and strong ROI.
You will establish robust governance, financial and vendor management frameworks, oversee system performance, risk and compliance, and champion standardisation while enabling local agility where required. A core aspect of the role is building and leading a high-performing, globally distributed ERP team, fostering a culture of accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement.
Skills required:
The ideal candidate is a seasoned ERP leader with 15+ years’ experience in enterprise ERP environments, proven success delivering large-scale, multi-country ERP programmes, and strong commercial acumen. You will bring deep expertise in core ERP-supported processes, digital transformation, and regulatory compliance, with the credibility and presence to influence at executive level. Regular international travel will be required.
