Financial Accountant
We are looking to recruit a Financial Accountant on a 12-month contract. The Financial Accountant will be responsible for all areas relating to financial reporting. This position reports directly to the Finance Director.
The role:
· General ledger preparation.
· Monthly management accounts
· Financial reporting.
· Year-end audit preparation.
· Payroll
· Supervision of accounts payable/receivable staff
· Support of budget and forecast activities
· Costings.
The successful candidate will
- Fully qualified ACA, ACCA or CPA accountant
- Be self-motivated and work well on their own as well as in a team environment
- Two to five years’ prior experience in the financial reporting/general ledger area in industry
- Staff supervision experience desirable
- Excellent computer skills (Accounting package and Excel) and communication skills
