Overview:
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced and client-focused Financial Advisor to join a dynamic financial advisory team. The ideal candidate will play a key role in managing client relationships, delivering expert financial advice, and supporting the development of long-term financial planning strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop life, pension, and investment business from an existing client base while proactively sourcing new clients
- Identify cross-selling opportunities and contribute to growth targets
- Provide comprehensive advice based on clients’ financial needs and objectives
- Conduct regular portfolio reviews and suggest adjustments as needed
- Maintain strong, long-term client relationships through consistent communication and follow-up
- Manage the full application process for new business from start to finish
- Onboard new clients and conduct presentations for group pension scheme members
- Prepare quotations and process new business and renewals (Personal, Executive, Group)
- Ensure all client files are fully compliant with current regulatory standards
- Stay informed on economic trends, regulatory updates, and financial product developments
- Support junior advisors and assist in team training and knowledge sharing
- Contribute to ad hoc duties and special projects as required
Requirements & Skills:
- QFA designation is essential
- Minimum 5 years of experience in financial advisory or wealth management
- Strong knowledge of pensions, protection, and investment products
- Familiarity with group pension and mortgage products is an advantage
- In-depth understanding of compliance and AML requirements
- Proven ability to provide advice across a broad range of financial products
- Excellent communication, analytical, and interpersonal skills
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Results-driven and highly organised
- Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office
