Sourcing Manager – Contract
Hybrid role with 2 days in Dublin city centre
6 month contract with a view to extension
A leading bank is hiring Sourcing Managers to join the Strategic Sourcing & Procurement Services Hub. These roles are flexibly deployed across categories and play a critical role in supporting Category Managers and Heads of Category to deliver effective sourcing outcomes, strong supplier insight, and full compliance with Group governance and regulatory standards.
Role
The Sourcing Manager provides high-quality operational, analytical, and commercial support across sourcing activities. Acting as a central resource, the role supports sourcing events, supplier engagement, data accuracy, and procurement process execution, helping to accelerate delivery and ensure consistent adherence to procurement frameworks.
Responsibilities
- Support and execute sourcing activities including RFIs, RFPs, RFQs, pricing requests, and tender evaluations.
- Prepare and manage sourcing documentation, ensuring accuracy and alignment with category strategy and governance requirements.
- Conduct supplier research, market scanning, cost analysis, and performance data validation to support commercial decision-making.
- Manage supplier interactions, clarifications, and data submissions throughout sourcing events.
- Maintain accurate, audit-ready records across procurement systems and tools (e.g. Coupa).
- Support continuous improvement of sourcing processes, cycle times, and data quality.
- Build effective working relationships with category teams, hub colleagues, business stakeholders, and suppliers.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Procurement, or a related discipline.
- 3–5 years’ experience in procurement, sourcing operations, or supply chain management (financial services experience desirable).
- Experience supporting structured sourcing events and managing supplier communications.
- Strong attention to detail with proven capability in data analysis, documentation accuracy, and issue resolution.
- Good understanding of procurement governance, compliance, and risk management.
- Familiarity with procurement systems and tools (e.g. Coupa or similar).
- Organised, proactive, and comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
