Cpl are inviting applications for the position of Healthcare Assistant with Mowlam Healthcare, Ireland’s largest private nursing home provider.
Virtual Interviews occur weekly.
Duties and Responsibilities
• Assisting nursing staff and the wider care team in providing high-quality, person-centred care that meets residents’ needs.
• Building relationships with residents by learning their interests and providing attention, support, and companionship.
• Encouraging and supporting residents’ mobility, offering supervision and assistance to help maintain or improve their movement abilities.
• Helping residents with personal hygiene and appearance needs while always respecting their dignity.
• Supporting residents with eating, drinking, and achieving physical comfort.
• Taking part in, organising, and delivering social and recreational activities.
• Maintaining strong communication with residents’ families and fostering positive relationships.
• Helping to uphold high standards of cleanliness throughout the home.
• Contributing to the home’s overall Health and Safety standards.
• Performing any additional duties as required by the Nurse in Charge or management.
Qualifications
• FETAC/QQI Level 5 in Healthcare (relevant modules), or an equivalent qualification—completed or in progress.
• Authorisation to work in Ireland in place, in the form of stamp 1g, stamp 4, or Ire/UK/EU citizenship
• Recent relevant work experience

• Fluent spoken and written English.
