Job Title: SSO Livestock Sustainability Modeller
Location: Hillsborough
Hours: Part-time, minimum 12 hours up to 22.2 hours per week
Duration: 3 months (with possible extension)
Salary: £43,584 per annum (pro-rata)
About the Role
We are recruiting for a part-time SSO Livestock Sustainability Modeller to join a leading research organisation in Northern Ireland. This role involves contributing to high-quality sustainability research in livestock production and publishing your findings to advance knowledge and best practices.
Essential Criteria
- Option 1: PhD in a relevant area plus 2 years’ demonstrable postdoctoral experience.
- Option 2: Undergraduate degree in a relevant area plus 4 years’ demonstrable experience.
- Proven ability to communicate research findings, evidenced by at least 2 first-author peer-reviewed publications.
- Experience in life cycle assessment modelling or script-based programming applied to agricultural production and/or agri-food supply chains.
