The Opportunity
We are seeking a driven and motivated sales professional—or a nurse with a strong commercial mindset—to join our team as the dedicated Orthopedic Sales Executive. This is a national role focusing on orthopedic soft goods (casting, splinting, etc., not joint replacements).
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and grow existing business with hospitals and clinics nationwide.
- Develop new accounts and drive sales growth through HSE tenders and direct engagement.
- Build strong relationships with clinical staff, procurement teams, and decision-makers.
- Deliver product demonstrations, in-service training, and ongoing customer support.
- Achieve and exceed quarterly sales targets.
- Work collaboratively with internal colleagues to ensure smooth handovers and account backfill.
About You
- Experience in orthopedic or medical device sales is ideal, but not essential.
- Nursing or clinical background with a desire to move into sales will also be considered.
- Proven ability to build relationships and deliver on sales objectives.
- Highly motivated, organized, and comfortable working independently on the road.
- Willingness to travel nationally, including overnight stays when required.
Training & Support
- Comprehensive 2-week training program in the UK, including shadowing experienced team members.
- Ongoing support from a team of three colleagues (this is the only dedicated orthopedic product sales role).
Location: Ireland – National (Midlands or Dublin preferred Location)
Travel: Field-based, national coverage with regular on-the-road activity, occasional office meetings, and overnight stays as required.
