CPL are working with a globally recognised specialist contracting business based in Newry, County Down to recruit a Management Accountant on a full time, permanent basis.
This excellent opportunity is available due to significant growth across the past 2 years and further expansion is planned which really highlights the direction the business is going in. The role will ideally suit an accountant who has recently qualified in the last 2 years and has some exposure in industry.

Roles & Responsibilities;
- Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes
- Supporting month end close processes which will include journal preparation and balance sheet reconciliations
- Year end audit file preparation
- Providing backup & support to finance team members
- Preparation & filing of VAT returns
- Ad hoc duties as and when required.
What we are looking for;
- Ideally you will be a newly qualified or soon to be qualified accountant
- Strong analytical, interpersonal and communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and be proficient in Microsoft Excel.
