Manufacturing Engineer – 4 day Week

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a proactive and detail-oriented Manufacturing Engineer to join a forward-thinking engineering environment. This role focuses on developing and improving manufacturing systems, processes, and equipment to maximise safety, quality, and delivery while minimising production costs.
Key Responsibilities
· Plan, coordinate, and implement efficient and cost-effective production methods for sub-assemblies and final product builds
· Work closely with production, engineering, and quality teams to resolve manufacturing issues
· Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective and preventative actions
· Introduce and maintain best practice standard work on the shop floor to improve safety, quality, and efficiency
· Develop ergonomic processes aligned with Lean Manufacturing and 5S principles
· Support production through active participation in cross-functional teams
· Lead new product introduction activities including design for manufacture (DFM) reviews
· Establish manufacturing processes and support production launches
· Drive continuous improvement across manufacturing systems and procedures
Requirements
· Degree in Engineering
· Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, material management, and industrial engineering
· Experience in a similar manufacturing engineer role
· Computer literate with good technical capability
