ICT Security & Networks Administrator | Hybrid | Dublin
A leading public sector financial organization is seeking an ICT Security & Networks Administrator to strengthen its cyber and network security operations across a hybrid on-premise and cloud environment.
About the Role
You’ll support the management and security of complex network infrastructure, ensuring high availability and protection of critical data. Working as part of a dedicated ICT Security team, you’ll monitor, respond to, and enhance defenses against evolving cyber threats.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and support network security tools (firewalls, access controls, etc.)
- Monitor and investigate security alerts and network anomalies
- Assist with vulnerability assessments, remediation, and audits
- Support secure cloud and on-premise network operations
About You
- Degree in Computing, Engineering, or equivalent experience
- 5+ years in network security administration
- Strong knowledge of LAN/WAN, VPN, DNS, PKI, and cloud networking
- Certifications such as Cisco CCNA/CCNP, Fortinet, Checkpoint, Palo Alto, or Microsoft are a plus
