We are working with a globally established financial services organisation operating at significant international scale. This business underpins complex investment structures worldwide and continues to invest heavily in its proprietary technology platforms and cloud infrastructure.
You will join a core engineering team responsible for a mission critical reconciliation and financial processing system operating in a high volume, performance sensitive environment.
What You Will Do
• Develop and enhance Java based web applications
• Design and tune Oracle PL SQL procedures and complex SQL queries
• Optimise performance on large scale databases
• Troubleshoot production issues and perform root cause analysis
• Work with AWS hosted environments and CI CD pipelines
What We Are Looking For
• 7+ years Java enterprise development experience
• Strong Oracle SQL and PL SQL performance tuning background
• Experience in high volume or financial systems
• Exposure to AWS
• Python scripting beneficial
