Procurement Coordinator & Fleet Manager
My client provides a wide range of facilities management services across Ireland, Europe, and the UK. These are delivered as integrated FM contracts, in bundles or as single services, depending on client requirements. Our service areas include technical services, energy and building services, cleaning, security, front of house and consultancy.
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a full-time ‘Procurement Coordinator & Fleet Manager’ to join expanding procurement team on a permanent basis, supporting the significant growth of the business which has occurred over the last number of years into the future.
Reporting to the Procurement Manager, the ambitious individual will have responsibility for developing and managing supplier relationships and the supplier network in line with the company purchasing policy, negotiating and implementing contracts, sourcing best practice and continuous improvement. In addition, the Procurement Coordinator & Fleet Manager will be responsible for day-to-day management of the fleet.
Key responsibilities:
- Develop and manage procurement procedures
- Ensure compliance with procurement policies
- Source and evaluate suppliers in accordance with company policies
- Negotiate contracts and monitor supplier performance
- Maintain accurate supplier records and pricing database
- Manage vendor relationships
- Resolve supplier queries
- Coordinate the delivery of goods and services as and when required
- Maintain procurement records and databases
- Negotiate supplier price reductions
- Correct & maintain fleet list
- Liaise with new & current drivers
- Review returned vehicles and arranged appropriate care
- Organise rentals when required
- Work with Business Development team for new tenders
- Support with (De)mobilisation of contracts
About you:

- Strong IT Skills – Microsoft office, Excel & PowerPoint
- Enthusiasm, resilience & drive.
- Demonstrated working knowledge of sourcing and procurement methodologies, concepts, and P2P process and controls.
- Proven experience in commercial resolutions and problem solving with vendors in Facilities/Construction environment is desired.
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in vendor management / sourcing functions, preferably in a Facilities Management and EU regulated environment.
