Main Duties:
· Plan, schedule and coordinate production of the company’s manufactured products
· Liaise with production supervisors to ensure schedule is suitable
· Evaluate raw materials stock to ensure everything is in place for production
· Pass on lead times and scheduled collection dates for orders to the sales/customer service team
· Report on the status of scheduled production
· Handle production disruptions and productivity problems
· Use market forecasts to anticipate necessary production changes
· Co-ordinate cycle counts and reconciling counts when necessary
Essential Criteria:
· BSc in Supply Chain, Production Planning or equivalent
· Minimum of 2 years’ experience working in a similar role.
· At least 2 years’ experience using and ERP/MRP system
· Excellent problem solving and decision making skills.
· Excellent team player and multi-tasker.
· Strong verbal and written communication.
· A high level of attention to detail.
Desirable Criteria:
· SAP experience
