Projects Manager
The Projects Manager will lead the delivery of complex mechanical, electrical, and energy infrastructure projects within industrial environments. This role ensures projects are executed safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards while driving energy efficiency and decarbonization outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver multiple energy and decarbonization projects across industrial facilities, from planning and procurement through commissioning and handover.
- Manage multidisciplinary teams, contractors, vendors, and stakeholders to ensure aligned execution.
- Develop and control project schedules, budgets, and resources using tools such as MS Dynamics.
- Oversee financial tracking, change control, invoicing, and profitability monitoring.
- Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and quality standards.
- Identify and mitigate project risks, maintaining risk registers and contingency plans.
- Produce accurate project documentation, reports, and dashboards for internal and client use.
- Promote best practices in health, safety, and environmental management.
Requirements
- Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Energy, or Industrial Engineering (or related discipline).
- 8+ years’ experience managing projects in energy, industrial, utilities, or capital project environments.
- Proven proficiency in project management methodologies (PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent preferred).
- Strong technical understanding of mechanical/electrical systems, sustainability, and decarbonisation technologies.
- Experience managing industrial clients (e.g., Food & Beverage, Pharmaceutical, Medical Devices, Data Centres).
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Knowledge of contractor selection, vendor management, and contract administration (NEC, FIDIC, etc.).
- Full clean driving license and willingness to travel as required.
