Excellent Opportunity for Property Specialists to work for a State organisation and manage a large Medical Facility Property Portfolio. Office based in Kilkenny, building portfolio includes the following locations in the South East; Carlow/Kilkenny, Tipperary (South), Waterford, Wexford. Your role will be to ensure compliance and to provide Technical Support to the Property and Project Management Team. Position; Property Management
Location: Ireland, South East
Salary: €55,000 - €60,000 plus travel expenses
Annual Leave: 30 Days plus Bank Holidays
Duties will include;
Comply with regulatory requirements including permission, licences, certificates and approvals.
Assist in planning management and rationalisation of the existing portfolio.
Ensure property database and documentation is up to date and accessible by other members of the Property Services Team.
Assist in inspection and review of Leases - to include renewals, amendments, assignments and consents to sub leases and licences.
Arrange for preparation of title maps, lease maps and other maps associated with contract documents for property related transactions and application submissions.
Build relationships, in order to support the role with Estate Agents, Local Authorities and Property Management
Provide timely management information reports as directed
Wider field of experience that can deal with a property sale, a commercial lease, a boundary rectification, trespass etc.
Assist planning future property requirements, based on demographics, the service plan, funding availability and projected staffing levels and maximising all cross-Care group opportunities for
property utilisation.
Maximise available funding sources and develop the Area’s Public Private Partnership strategy for property funding where deemed appropriate
Develop a suite of performance indicators to effectively monitor the implementation of the Area’s property strategy and effectiveness of the utilisation of properties.
Prepare annual and multi annual plans within the frameworks of the Corporate Strategy and
Service Planning process.
Report on the revenue impact of planned property developments.
Ensure that all property transactions conform to statutory requirements.
Qualifications:
Chartered Surveying, Estate/Property
Management or Property Valuation
Or Be a member of the Society of Chartered Surveyors in Ireland or the Institute of Auctioneers and
Valuers of Ireland
And
Have significant satisfactory experience (including 3 year’s minimum post qualification
experience) of the above disciplines including;
i) Have a wide experience of the commercial property market, property procurement
options and demonstrate a high level of administrative capability and computer
literacy.
ii) Have a good working knowledge of the Planning Acts, Regulations and Local Authority
Development Plans as they relate to the zoning of lands and properties, and have the
capability to prepare, or cause to be prepared, applications or submissions in relation
to rezoning of lands and properties.
iii) Have a good working knowledge of the process of property acquisition and disposal
including the legal and statutory obligations attaching to property transactions.
iv) Have a good working knowledge of current opportunities and trends in estate
management, having the capability to advise on opportunities for maximising the
potential of a diversified building stock.
v) Be familiar with innovative approaches to estate portfolio management, development
and enhancement, including, joint venture options, partnerships and equity release.
And
c) Possess a high standard of technical training, experience and the requisite knowledge and ability
(including a high standard of suitability and of administrative capacity) to enter on the discharge of
the duties of the office.
(d) Possess a full current valid driving license.
