Quality Control Technician – Permanent
📍 Annacotty, Co. Limerick | 🕒 Mon–Fri, 7.30am–4.30pm | 💶 Competitive Salary
We’re recruiting a Quality Control Technician to join a growing team in Annacotty. This is a varied role combining lab testing, environmental monitoring, and product development. You’ll work on QC processes and also play a part in developing and testing new liquid solutions used in the print and packaging industry.
What You’ll Do:
- Perform QC testing on raw materials, packaging, and finished products
- Mix and test liquid solutions used in fount and ink production
- Support colour matching of inks for the packaging sector
- Carry out environmental and wastewater monitoring to meet EPA/BOD standards
- Operate and support the on-site water treatment plant
- Calibrate lab and production equipment
- Handle SAP approvals and recipe maintenance
- Support new product development – assist with trials, formulation changes, and raw material validation
- Troubleshoot production issues and support customer claim investigations
- Contribute to cost-saving projects and continuous improvement initiatives
What You’ll Need:
- Chemistry or Science Level 6 qualification preferred
- Experience in wet chemistry, lab testing, or manufacturing
- Understanding of environmental compliance and wastewater treatment
- Strong colour perception – must pass a colour blindness test
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel)
- Strong problem-solving and multitasking skills
- Comfortable working independently and in a small team
