CPL Recruitment is delighted to be working in partnership with our client for a Quantity Surveyor on a permanent full-time basis, based in Co. Tyrone.

- A multiple award-winning business with over 40 years in construction, delivering medium and large-scale developments to public and private sector clients across the Island of Ireland and the UK.
The role:
With a full copy of the Job Spec available on request, the Quantity Surveyor will:
- Work side-by-side with the wider Commercial team, playing a vital role in delivering value for money projects and quality to clients.
- Negotiate and appoint subcontractors to schemes, manage subcontractor packages from appointment through to final account, build positive and close working relationships with Contract Managers and Site Teams, delivering quality projects and work on the submission of valuations and variations on schemes.
- Carry out site visits, viewing quality, works completed and management of costs.
- Ensure compliance with all policies and procedures along with accurate management of IMS systems.
The person:
- Degree in Quantity Surveying.
- 5 years min. experience in a similar role.
- Sound working knowledge of construction contracts such as NEC/PWC/JCT.
- Skilled negotiator with excellent communication and influencing skills.
- Able to work on own initiative along with being able to plan and prioritise workload and meet deadlines.
- Excellent MS Office suite knowledge with a particular focus on Excel and Outlook.
- Full driving licence.
