As Regional Sales Manager, you will be responsible for managing and growing business across the southern counties of Ireland. You’ll represent the brand, develop new opportunities, and nurture existing partnerships within the construction and builders’ merchants sector.
Key Responsibilities
- Territory Management: Plan and execute a strategic sales approach for the Munster region, ensuring coverage of key accounts and identification of growth opportunities.
- Business Development: Proactively seek new customers within the builders’ merchants and construction sector, while maintaining and expanding relationships with existing clients.
- Account Management: Deliver exceptional customer service, manage pricing negotiations, and ensure timely resolution of queries to strengthen long-term partnerships.
- Sales Planning & Reporting: Prepare accurate sales forecasts, monitor performance against targets, and provide regular reports to management.
- Market Intelligence: Stay informed on industry trends, competitor activity, and customer needs to identify opportunities and adapt strategies.
- Product Promotion: Represent the brand professionally, promote product ranges, and provide technical advice where required.
- Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams (operations, logistics, and customer service) to ensure smooth order processing and delivery.
- Compliance & Standards: Uphold company policies, health & safety standards, and maintain accurate records in CRM systems.
What We’re Looking For
- Proven experience in sales within the construction or builders’ merchants industry
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- Self-motivated and able to work independently
- Full, clean driving licence
- Knowledge of timber products or construction materials (advantageous)
- Based in or willing to cover the Munster region
