RTR Manager – Advisory (FAAS)
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced RTR Manager to join a leading Advisory FAAS team. This role offers the chance to work closely with clients, manage complex month-end and reporting processes, and lead medium to large teams in delivering high-quality financial accounting services.
The Role – Key Responsibilities
- Review and approve month-end close journal postings including accruals, prepayments, payroll, and intercompany transactions
- Review and approve Fixed Asset subledger reconciliations to the General Ledger
- Review and approve Bank Account Reconciliations, including FX postings for foreign currency payments
- Review and approve Lease-related journals
- Review and approve Deferred Revenue postings
- Review and approve Inventory Valuation and Accounting
- Review and approve Share Based Compensation postings
- Review and approve Balance Sheet Reconciliations
- Review variance analysis across Balance Sheet and P&L, identifying required adjustments and corrections
- Review shadow books received from local offices, ensuring appropriate back-up for each adjustment
- Review bridge files and financial statements from local offices, ensuring alignment to the Trial Balance and that all adjustments have appropriate support
- Manage client relationships
- Maintain and continuously update process documentation
- Lead and manage projects
- Manage medium to large teams operating across different roles
Skills & Experience
- ACA / ACCA qualified
- Minimum 5 years’ post-qualification experience in a similar role
- Ability to work to tight deadlines and meet statutory filing requirements
- Advanced Excel skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint)
- Experience managing medium to large teams
- Prior experience with ERP systems such as SAP or Oracle
- Experience with ERP system implementation
- Blackline experience
This is a high-responsibility role suited to a technically strong accounting professional with solid people management experience and a strong understanding of financial reporting and control environments.
