We’re seeking a driven Field Sales Representative to help grow a well‑established business in the building materials sector. You’ll focus on winning new business, managing key trade accounts, and delivering excellent service across your territory.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and grow relationships with existing trade customers (builders, contractors, developers).
- Identify and secure new business opportunities locally and regionally.
- Achieve sales targets, GP margins, and account growth goals.
- Promote the full product range and maximise revenue through upselling and cross‑selling.
- Maintain strong product knowledge and provide technical support when required.
- Work closely with internal teams to ensure smooth order fulfilment.
- Update CRM systems and prepare regular sales reports.
- Monitor customer accounts to ensure payment terms are met.
Skills & Experience
Required:
- Proven field sales experience within the construction or builders’ merchant sector - this is essential.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship‑building skills.
- Self‑motivated with excellent territory and time management.
- Full, clean driving licence.
Preferred:
- Knowledge of building materials.
- CRM experience.
- Understanding of the local trade customer base.
Location and Territory
- Office/HQ: Clondalkin, Dublin 22
- Territory: Clondalkin or Coolock
