Our client is seeking an experienced Senior Civil/Structural Engineer to join our Cork team and play a key leadership role in delivering some of the region’s most exciting projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage civil/structural design projects from initial concept through to completion.
- Oversee project budgets, schedules and deliverables to ensure the highest technical standards are achieved.
- Mentor and support junior engineers and graduates as they develop their technical abilities.
- Conduct site visits and collaborate with clients, contractors and suppliers on both technical and commercial matters.
- Ensure all work complies with Eurocodes and relevant industry design standards.
- Contribute to technical proposals, presentations and project documentation.
- Support the continued growth and development of our Cork office.
About You
- 5+ years’ civil/structural engineering experience within Ireland.
- Relevant third-level qualification in engineering.
- Strong understanding of engineering principles, construction processes and applicable standards.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD/Revit is advantageous (not essential).
- Excellent communication skills and a collaborative approach with clients and internal teams.
- Based in Cork or open to relocation.
- Ambitious, self-driven and seeking long-term career progression.
