Senior Dietician – Acute Setting – Mallow, Co. Cork

Senior Dietician required by Cpl Healthcare, in partnership with the HSE, for a new opportunity based in Mallow General Hospital, Co. Cork.

The role will be offered on a temporary basis, to cover a 12 month maternity leave.

The purpose of this role is to assist with the provision, management and development of a high level dietetic service to the wards and departments of Mallow General Hospital.

Job Responsibilities:

·      Be responsible for the organisation, provision and evaluation of the Nutrition & Dietetic Services to patients in the acute setting, as required.

·      Develop, implement and monitor a plan of care, based on assessment of the patients’ nutritional needs.

·      Liaise with multidisciplinary team, staff colleagues and dieticians in other acute settings and in Primary Care, as appropriate.

·      Participate in the medical team rounds, multidisciplinary meetings, case conferences, clinical meetings, as required.

The Candidate:

·      A recognised qualification as a Dietician with CORU registration

·      3 years post graduate experience essential

·      Permission to work in Ireland

·      Professional approach to work
