Scope: We are seeking a Senior Quality Engineer to play a key role in supporting and improving quality systems, compliance, and continuous improvement within our manufacturing operation. This is a hands-on senior role with strong cross-functional exposure, working closely with Manufacturing, Engineering, and Supply Chain teams. You will act as a technical lead, taking ownership of key quality initiatives and driving improvements that directly impact product quality and manufacturing performance. This role is not a document-control or audit-only position — it offers involvement and real influence on manufacturing and quality outcomes. Responsibilities:
• Quality System Management: Develop, maintain, and oversee the quality management system (QMS) to ensure compliance with relevant standards like ISO 9001, IATF16949 and others depending on future customer requirements.
• Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all products and processes are compliant with regulatory and quality standards. This includes handling customer complaints and vigilance reporting requirements.
• Technical Leadership: Provide technical guidance on quality matters, participate in design reviews, and support the quality aspects of project design, development, and implementation.
• Continuous Improvement: Drive continuous improvement efforts by analysing quality metrics, identifying trends, and leading projects to improve efficiency and quality. This often involves using tools to support Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA).
• Process Oversight: Oversee and support quality control for manufacturing, supplier quality, and product development, ensuring quality is built into every stage.
• Risk Management: Lead and participate in the risk management process to identify, assess, and mitigate risks using tools like pFMEA, APQP, etc
. • Mentorship and Collaboration: Mentor and guide junior staff and work closely with crossfunctional teams to achieve business goals.
• Audits and Validation: Support internal and external audit programs and assist with the validation and qualification of processes, equipment, and new products. Qualifications & Skills:
• 5–9 years’ experience in quality engineering within manufacturing or chemical environments
• Strong experience with QMS, audits, CAPA, and change control
• Solid knowledge of ISO 9001; IATF 16949 or similar manufacturing quality standards is a strong advantage • Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams and drive quality improvements
• Engineering, science, or related third-level qualification • Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills What’s on Offer:
