Cpl Healthcare working in partnership with our client have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Services Manager to join a Senior Management team working within the Intellectual Disability Sector.
We are seeking applicants with significant management experience in the Intellectual Disability sector.
This is a great opportunity to join our senior management team; develop services and lead change within services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate as a key member of the senior management team leading change in line with the strategic plan within the service
- To manage, support and empower Client Service Managers to deliver quality and regulatory compliant care
- Ensure the effective allocation and deployment of human resources
- Assist with the preparation and monitoring of service budgets and the effective management of financial resources
- Monthly Management Reporting taking in performance across each of the areas of responsibilities
- To ensure the efficient and effective utilization of resources in line with budget constraints
- Ensure relevant systems and procedures are in place to deliver high quality services
- Define and plan overall service priorities anticipating and responding to relevant legislation and regulations and effectively deploy resources to this end.
Requirements:
Applicants must hold a minimum QQI level 7 in Social Care/Nurse Qualified or foreign equivalent (validated by QQI) along with a Management qualification in Health/Social Care.
Applicants must have:
• A minimum of 3 years’ experience of managing a team within the Intellectual Disability sector.
• Excellent operational knowledge of frontline services.
• A passion for the sector and identify with the common values and aims of the service
• Strong communication and leadership skills and the ability to gain trust, commitment, and co-operation of others.
• Adaptability and readiness to challenge existing practices and find alternatives.
• A knowledge of all relevant legislation, HIQA regulations and standards
