Senior/Principal Medical Editor
London
• Independently owned medical communications organisation.
• Opportunity to work across a range of materials including digital and print.
• Therapy areas include Oncology, Respiratory, Neurology and others.
The Senior/Principal Medical Editor will be responsible for editing and proofreading all materials, ensuring accuracy and consistency throughout. You will also work closely alongside the Managing Editor to ensure projects are delivered in-line with budgets and timelines and will be a key member of the Editorial team, delivering training to team members and inductions to new starters.
Medical communications agency experience is essential for this role – if you are applying for the Principal level role, 5+ years is ideally required.
Other core requirements include:
• Solid medical editing experience gained from a medcomms agency.
• A strong attention to detail.
• Experience of mentoring and training other team members would be a strong advantage.
• A degree (or equivalent qualification) in a Scientific/Life Sciences focused subject.
