Senior Speech and Language Therapists- Naas, Co. Kildare
Cpl in partnership with the HSE, are seeking a Senior SLT to join the Acute Care team in Naas General Hospital, Naas, Co. Kildare
Job Responsibilities:
• Initially for 6 months- possibility of extending to 1 year.
• Flexible and/ or reduced hours will be considered.
• The SLT department in Naas General Hospital provides an evidence based and high quality service to adults across all acute services including, Stroke, Age-related care, Critical care, Respiratory, General Medicine and Surgery.
• The Successful candidate will work in the established SLT team and will access, diagnose and treat communication and swallowing difficulties of adults across the inpatient acute medicals wards. There is consistent provision of Videofluoroscopy and FEES. There is a strong emphasis on supervision and mentorship in the department.
The Candidate
• A recognised qualification in Speech & Language Therapy with CORU registration
• A Minimum of 3 years post graduate experience, including work in an acute setting
• Dysphagia qualification and experience
• Videofluoroscopy, tracheostomy and/or FEES experience would be desirable, however, not essential.
• Be living in and eligible to work in the Republic of Ireland
