Service Product Manager wanted for Biopharma Manufacturing client on a full time basis.

Our clients products include process and equipment engineering/consulting services, comprehensive site services, bioreactors and fermenters, filtration and chromatography systems, prep and hold systems, and cleaning/sterilization systems.
Position Summary:
The Service Product Manager will provide the deep product expertise needed to lead the organization and make strategic product decisions. They will analyze market and competitive conditions, laying out a product vision that is differentiated and delivers unique value based on customer demands. The role spans many activities from strategic to tactical and provides important cross-functional leadership.
Responsibilities:
• Support the activities of the Sales and Marketing/Product Development Departments.
• Provide technical guidance to customers and internal contacts.
• Prepare ‘Budget’ and detailed ‘Firm’ proposals.
• Determine service cost (material and labor).
• Conduct contract review with Sales.
• Prepare project turnover package when an field work/order is completed.
• Provide design, project engineering and operations management on service projects from order receipt through to completion.
• Prepare and maintain service project schedules including the management of customer expectations.
• Assist in setting service priorities and schedules.
• Provide leadership to field service technicians in project execution.
• Prepare and submit Customer Field Service Reports
• Provide assessment of services department staff
• Manage Cost Reduction and service Improvements
• Complete monthly internal financial forecasts and reports.
• Execute other tasks as assigned
• Ability to travel when required
Qualifications/Experience:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Honors Degree (Level 8)
• 5 years in equipment service or customer service
• Experience with leadership in a manufacturing environment preferred
• General knowledge of S/S vessels, components, accessories and remediation processes.
• Proven ability to lead, supervise and coach a team
• Computer skills such as Microsoft Excel, Word & Powerpoint.
