Overview
Autodesk is seeking a contract Simulation Validation Engineer to join its QA organisation in Poland. This role supports the integration and validation of engineering simulation capabilities within Autodesk Fusion and Autodesk Moldflow. The role suits an engineer with a strong mechanical background who enjoys working at the intersection of engineering and software.
Key Responsibilities
- Validate and test engineering simulation features within Autodesk Fusion and Autodesk Moldflow
- Analyse and interpret simulation results to ensure accuracy and reliability
- Support integration and regression testing across simulation workflows
- Communicate technical findings clearly to engineering and non-engineering stakeholders
- Collaborate with QA, product, and engineering teams
- Rapidly build domain knowledge across Autodesk simulation products
Required Skills and Experience (Must Have)
- Engineering background with strong fundamentals in mechanics of materials, strength of materials, theoretical mechanics, or similar
- Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Civil Engineering, Energy Engineering, or related discipline, or equivalent experience
- Strong understanding of engineering simulation / CAE concepts such as FEM / FEA or other numerical methods
- Ability to interpret and explain simulation results
- Fluent English communication skills, spoken and written (minimum B2)
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- High learning agility and ability to ramp up quickly in new technical domains
- Interest in working closely with software engineering teams
Nice to Have
- Experience with Autodesk Fusion and/or Autodesk Moldflow, or similar CAE tools
- Knowledge of injection moulding processes and manufacturing fundamentals
- Familiarity with software testing practices including test planning, regression testing, and defect reporting
- Basic scripting or programming skills such as Python for automation, data analysis, or post-processing

Contract Duration: 18 months with potential extension
