Night Social Care Worker – Children’s Residential Services
Shift Type: Night Duty (12-hour shifts)

Cpl Healthcare is delighted to announce our partnership with a specialist children’s residential service dedicated to providing high-quality, trauma-informed care. Our client supports young people to build resilience and recover from early life trauma by offering a safe, therapeutic, and non-judgemental environment, where healing is supported through consistent relationships and care.
Due to service requirements, we are currently seeking Social Care Workers for night duty to join the team in Fethard, Co. Tipperary.
The Role
As a Night Social Care Worker, you will play a vital role in maintaining a safe, calm, and supportive environment during overnight hours, ensuring the wellbeing and security of young people in residential care.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide a safe and nurturing overnight environment for young people
- Support emotional wellbeing through a trauma-informed and therapeutic approach
- Carry out night-time routines, checks, and required documentation
- Respond appropriately to incidents or concerns during the night
- Work independently while remaining an active member of the wider care team
Requirements
- A minimum of 1 year’s experience working in a children’s residential service as a Social Care Worker
- A Level 7 qualification in Social Care or a relevant equivalent
- A full Irish driving licence (manual or automatic accepted)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
