Role Overview: Join our team to provide care, protection, and encouragement to vulnerable young individuals. Collaborate with professionals to develop interventions and support young people in remaining in their homes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support and advocate for young individuals
- Address trauma and challenging behavior
- Foster well-being in various aspects
- Communicate with families and agencies
- Maintain accurate records
- Encourage youth involvement in decisions
- Attend team and agency meetings
- Implement Focus Ireland's policies
Requirements:
- Degree in Social Care or equivalent
- Experience in social care, child protection, key working, and care planning
- Experience with marginalized groups, especially adolescents
- Full clean driving license
- Willingness for a 24/7 shift roster, including nights and 12-hour shifts
Desirable:
- Familiarity with Therapeutic Crisis Intervention
