Our client, a leading force in Ireland’s energy retrofit and sustainability sector, is looking for an experienced Solar PV Scheme Inspections Manager to join our growing team. Based in Clonskeagh, Dublin 4, this is a rare opportunity to work at the forefront of the SEAI Better Energy Homes Programme, supporting the delivery of Ireland’s Climate Action Plan.
We are seeking a driven and technically skilled manager to help shape the future of solar inspections in Ireland.
What You’ll Do
In this leadership role (3 days per week in office,2 days on site), you’ll oversee the delivery and quality of solar PV inspections across the country, manage a team of field inspectors and technical staff, and ensure smooth operation and reporting of all scheme activity.
Key Responsibilities Include:
- Lead and support field inspectors and the PV technical office team
- Prepare weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports for SEAI
- Monitor contractor performance and recommend improvements to the scheme
- Oversee inspection documentation (digital and paper) for accuracy and compliance
- Provide technical guidance to homeowners, contractors, and internal colleagues
- Manage KPIs, SLA compliance, and ensure timely inspection delivery
- Onboard and train new team members
- Act as a point of contact for technical appeals and escalations
- Maintain excellent customer service standards in line with SEAI guidelines
What You Bring
- FETAC Level 6 qualification in a construction-related field (Electrician, Engineering, etc.)
- Proven experience in solar PV systems, including electrical and technical knowledge
- Strong reporting, documentation, and team leadership skills
- Excellent communication and organisational abilities
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and general IT systems
- A proactive, motivated mindset with attention to quality and compliance
- Full, clean Irish Driving Licence
