💡 Now Hiring: Team Leader – Children’s Respite Service (Part-Time)
We are currently recruiting a Team Leader to support the delivery of a high-quality, person-centred children’s respite service in Sligo.
This role involves supporting children with intellectual disabilities, autism, physical disabilities, and complex health needs, while assisting the Respite Services Manager with the day-to-day running of the service.
🕒 Hours: 30 hours per week (Part-Time)
🌟 The Role
As Team Leader, you will play a key role in ensuring a safe, supportive, and HIQA-compliant environment for children and their families.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the delivery of a safe, high-quality, HIQA-compliant service
- Lead and guide staff teams across varied shifts
- Manage rotas, staff supervision, training, and communication
- Oversee the implementation and review of individual support and care plans
- Liaise with families, multidisciplinary teams, and stakeholders
- Maintain excellent standards in health & safety and documentation
- Support the Respite Services Manager with daily operations
📝 Requirements
- QQI Level 6 Major Award in Health & Social Care (or equivalent)
- Experience working in a HIQA-registered service
- Strong understanding of person-centred practice
- Full clean manual driving licence
- Flexibility with working hours
