Role Overview
Our client, a diverse Kerry-based practice, is seeking a Trainee or Part Qualified Accountant. This role offers hands-on experience across a broad client base, including retail, hospitality, and agriculture, providing a full-picture view of the accounting lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
- Preparing year-end accounts for sole traders, partnerships, and SMEs.
- Managing VAT, RCT, and Income Tax returns.
- Bookkeeping and payroll processing using cloud software (Xero/QuickBooks).
- Acting as a point of contact for client queries and compliance.
- Supporting audit exemptions and statutory filings.
candidate Requirements
- Progressing toward ACA, ACCA, CPA, or ATI qualification.
- Relevant degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business.
- Strong numerical accuracy and communication skills.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software.
- Full driving license preferred for occasional client visits.
