Flexsource are currently working with one of our Clients, a specialist in the distribution of temperature controlled products, delivering chilled products all over Ireland to recruit a Transport Planner of Home Deliveries for their main distribution centre in South Dublin
With over 20 years of experience and a fleet of over 200 vehicles, they provide a nationwide distribution services for their many clients within Ireland
The purpose of the role would be to have responsibility for the planning of Home Deliveries function including the day-to-day management and scheduling of the driver team
Key Responsibilities:
- Planning and scheduling the operational basis of home deliveries to customers to daily stock movements across the Republic of Ireland
- Work closely with the Transport manager and team to keep up to date on service and scheduling issues as necessary
- Monitor delivery times and locations of drivers to ensure delivery times are met
- Accurate planning of routes with the team
Key Requirements;
- A minimum 1 years’ experience in a similar role
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with cross functional teams
- Proficient in using planning and ERP systems,
Shift Times:
- Full time 5 days over 7
- 2 Shits: 06:30am – 3pm or 2pm – 10pm
- 2 weekends out of 4
