Cpl Healthcare in partnership with our client based in Guernsey are seeking an experienced Band 8A Advanced Nurse Practitioner to join a 12 bedded emergency department on the beautiful Island of Guernsey, in the Channel Islands.
The Advanced Nurse Practitioner (ANP) will be expected to work
within the 12 bedded Emergency Department that treats all emergency attendances
across the Bailiwick of Guernsey. The department comprises of 6 majors bays, 1
paediatric bay, 2 resuscitation bay, eye room, triage room and minor assessment
room. All patients are assessed and cared for by a team of specialist doctors
and nurses that treat approximately 23,000 patients a year. The department
manages the care and wellbeing needs for both adults and children.
KEY CRITERIA: ESSENTIAL
Minimum Qualifications:
· Registered Nurse with relevant emergency care experience at a senior level
· Approved Teaching/Mentoring Qualification
· Degree in a related field
· Current EPALS/ALS
· Masters degree in Advanced Clinical Practice qualification
· Non-medical Prescribing qualification.
Full Qualifications: Management Qualification Royal College of Emergency Medicine Advanced Clinical Practitioner Credentialing as Associate Member
DESIRABLE: Postgraduate Management qualification (or advanced clinical skills qualification).
Please note; Guernsey has adopted the AfC banding system, but have applied their own salary scale. The Guernsey Band 7 salary range from 1st Jan is £52,932 to £69,605 plus an annual bonus of £1,605 higher penalty rates; 36% evening/Saturday and 72% Sunday/BH.
Annual leave starts at 36 days up to 42 days with full credit for NHS service for annual leave and sick leave.
